Valentine Ladies Breakfast

What a lovely group of ladies...

What cute table decorations (great job Karen and Delois!)...

We exchanged Valentines...or notes of encouragement...
just tellin' a sister hey, love ya!

What pretty brownie bites (they were tasty and then there was the icing... and a nice surprise came when you bit into a yummy, gooey heart-shaped chocolate on top...I love Valentine's Day!)...

No, people, I'm not a jack o' lantern.
It's VALENTINE'S. I tried some orange. (Me no like)

Me and two of my bestest friendses Lisa and Annette...

Me and my 'lil sis' Bridgett. Ain't she a doll? Oh to be young again...
We went for a run after the yummy calorie consumption.

And last but CERTAINLY NOT LEAST me and my cute lil momma...

Fun times...

Hamburger helper hazard

There was a little mishap in the kitchen tonight...

It was really because the skillet (which was a wedding gift ~11 years ago) was on its last leg handle. Should've thrown it out, but I really liked the doggone thing...til tonight that is... bye, bye skillet. It was nice knowin' ya.

I told Anthony it could've been worse... I could've gotten hurt. It could've been a bigger mess than it was. And at least I was flexible enough (and the right size) to climb back behind the silly stove and clean up the mess.

After all that, I could still smile and ask my beloved to take a pic of me. ha!

*Footnote: I have never been a fan of Hamburger helper. Anthony loved it for the longest and then he got tired of it (thank goodness). Well, we recently tried one kind and we actually liked it, so we were trying another flavor tonight. It's just ironic that that is what I spilled. And even more ironic - after all of this, I recooked it (I had more meat) and it was not very yummy. To quote Cher, if I could turn back time...

Sassy scrappers

Here we go!
I work with Angela and Brandi, for the last six and a half years, and they're fun(ny) gals and great friends! And scrapbookin' with 'em is mighty fun!
We scrapped for about 5 hours!

Hard at work!

Each of us have our own unique style of scrappin' and that's cool. Brandi scraps a lot of her (adorable) little girl who's 2. Ang scraps her and her boyfriend...and her sweet momma. I scrap a lot of me and Anthony, and the family stuff on both sides. My scrapbook is kinda like our "book of life" since we've been married. I'm a little OCD so it's in chronological order.

If you wanna see my scrapbook, you'll just have to pay me a visit.
I can't spoil it for ya and put 'em all on this here blog.
